33+87+x=180

x=69

x+y=180

by linear pair

69-180

=111

y =111

Answer:

Angle sum property of triangle states that the sum of interior angles of a triangle is 180°

Angle x + 33° + 87° = 180° ( Angle sum theorem )

x + 120° = 180°

x = 180° - 120°

x = 60°

Angle x = Angle y ( Alternate Angles )

Therefore Angle y = 60°
