Answer: x = 50

The two angles are corresponding angles. Corresponding angles are congruent when we have parallel lines like this. The double arrow markers on the two lines show the lines are parallel.

Corresponding angles are angles that are on the same side of the parallel line, and also on the same side of the transversal line. Both 50 and x are in the upper right corner of each X four corner region.
