Quantity changes = 60 to 100

Percentage in price = (1.3-1.5 /(1.5+1.3)/2 )*100

(-0.2/1.4)*100 =-14.29%

Percentage in quantity = (100-60/(100+60)/2)*100

40/80*100 = 50%

Therefore , price elasticity of demand = 50/-14.29 = -3.5

With the elastic interval being less than 1 , it means that it is an inelastic demand
