the formula for the volume of a rectangular prism is length x width x height. substitute 4, 7, and 2, in for l x w x h and you get 56. so your answer is D. 56 in^3

Answer:

D

Explanation:

The volume (V) of the prism is calculated as

V = lbh ( l is length, b breadth and h is height )

Here l = 7, b = 2 and h = 4 , thus

V = 7 × 2 × 4 = 56 in² → D
