The 30-60-90 rules states...

  • the hypotenuse is 2x
  • The long leg is
    x√(3)
  • the short leg is x

Ex: short leg is 7 which means the long leg is
7√(3) and the hypotenuse is 14

Therefore if the hypotenuse is 10 then x (short leg) should be 5
