For number of bags, divide total area by the area 1 bag can cover.

480 / 12 = 40 total bags.

Now for total weight, multiple total bags by weight per bag:

40 bags x 40 pounds = 1,600 total pounds.

A = 40 bags

B = 1,600 pounds
