Given

2a+4b = 0.06*(2+4) ...........(1)

4a+2b = 0.07*(4+2) ...........(2)

2(1) - (2)

4a-4a +8b-2b = 6 (2*0.06-0.07)

6b = 6(0.05)

b = 0.05 .............(3)

Substitute (3) into (1) and solve for a

2a+4(0.05) = 0.36

2a = 0.16

a = 0.08
