In the context of a school, human resource management refers to the management of personnel like teaching staff, directors, and helping staff like janitors, nurses, councelors, and cafeteria cooks.

Like in a private company, human resource management is a very important aspect of the general management of a school. It has to do with tasks from wage payments, to the maintenance of a good working enviroment among workers.
