since 3 is less than 9 , we take a carry from 0 but 0 cannot be carries so we take 1 carry from 5\

thus

5 becomes 4, 0 becomes 10,

now 10 can be give 1 carry to 3 at unit place, so 3 becomes 13

now 9 is subtracted from 13

13-4 = 9

he has written 6 at unit place which should be
