Answer: 1 quarter, 1 dime and 1 nickel.

Explanation:

Quarter: 25 cents.

Dime: 10 cents

Nickel: 5 cents

25 + 10 = 35

35 + 5 = 40

Answer: 25 (1 quarter), 10 (1 dime), 5 (1 nickel) is 0.40 cents when all three numbers are summed up.
