(segment piece) x (segment piece) = (segment piece) x (segment piece)

12*x = 8 * (x+2)

Distribute

12x = 8x+16

Subtract 8x

12x-8x = 8x+16-8x

4x = 16

Divide by 4

4x/4 = 16/4

x = 4

We want NT

NT = 8+x+2

= 10 +x

= 10 +4

= 14
