V=4/3πr³=

V=4/3π(9)³=972π cm³

diameter reduced to half=18/2=9 cm

radius=d/2=9/2=4.5 cm

volume of sphere when diameter reduced by 1/2=

V=4/3πr³

v=4/3 (π)(4.5)³=121.5π

volume before reducing is 8 times the volume after reducing
