She falls in love with Jace, Simon and her get into a huge arguement, alec hates her because he's in love with him too, and she and Izzy become friends. She learns Valentine is her father her mother is a shadowhunter and Luke the man she knew all her life her dad was a shadowhunter and now a werewolf because of her actually dad valentine. Hodge is a traitor and She also finds out that Jace is her "brother".

She dresses differently and listens to different music than she is used to. In fact in this club all her story begins. It also shows us that Clary is actually a shy person so we can see the first change here.

In the other quote we can see a brave Clary who responds with a "My name is not‘ little girl, ’. Here we notice how her character has grown a lot and has stopped being that shy and cowardly little girl.
