When these harmful stubstances are added into products, it basically is getting their consumers to buy more of their product. Secondly, we have money. It can be expensive for a company to put good ingredients into their foods so they will put other ingrediants that would be harmful instead to save money for their buissness. Third reason is used in pesticides. When you buy fresh vegetables, you must wash them. This is because they put ptesticides whcih can be harmful to humans in there so bugs do not eat the vegetables.
