• cross multiply to get rid of the fractions:
  `5x = (1-8x)(5x+2)`

• simplify into a regular quadratic equation:
  `-20x^2 - 8x +1 =0`

• use the quadratic formula to get the answers:

`x = (8 \pm √((-8)^2 - 4 \cdot -20 \cdot 1))/(-40) = (8 \pm 12)/(-40)`

so x is 20/-40 = -0.5 or x = -4/-40 = 0.1
