Explanation:

1/2(6x-10)-x =

Distribute

3x -5 -x

2x -5

We need to other side to be of the form 2x - constant where the constant is not equal to 5

2x-5 = 2x+3

Subtract 2x from each side

-5 =3

This is not true so there is no solution
