150 metres
Explanation
The plate moves at a rate of 3cm/year
In 5000 years, the plate would have moved:
3cm • 5000 = 15000 cm
Convert from cm to m (100cm = 1m)
15000 / 100 = 150
Answer is therefore 150 metres
