Since we are picking 2 athletes randomly and without replacement.

Probability of 1 volleyball player = 24/46 = 12/23

Probability of basketball player (this is after 1 volleyball player has already been picked). We have 45 players left. = 22/45

probability of picking one volleyball player and one basketball player

p(volleyball player and basketball player)

(12/23) x (22/45)

= 88/345
