A long time ago, Expensive Cell Phone Company charged $2 per minute of use plus a $4 service charge each month.
One month, Mae's phone bill was $110. How many minutes did she use that month?

We have 2x+4=110

Subtract 4: 2x=106

Divide by 2: x=53

She used it for 53 mins.
