First we have to find out area of the base


s = (a + b + c)/(2)


= (5 + 12 + 13)/(2)


= (30)/(2)


= 15

Area of base =
√(s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c))


= √(15(15 - 5)(15 - 12)(15 - 13))


= √(15 * 10 * 3 * 2)


= √(5 * 3 * 5 * 2 * 3 * 2)


= 2 * 3 * 5


= 30 \: {cm}^(2)

Now, let's find the volume of triangular pyramid


= (1)/(3) * a * h


= (1)/(3) * 30 * 12


= 120 \: cm³
