For the x intercept, first plug in y=0 and solve for x.
So 2x+5y=10, is the given equation and then it becomes 2x+5(0)=0, once you plug in y=0.
which leads to 2x+0=10 once you multiply 5 and 0.
So then simplify to get 2x=10
divide both sides by 2 to eliminate 2x so it's 2x/2=10/2.
Then solve for x for both sides so it will be x=5.
The x intercept will be (5,0).

For the y intercept first you plug x=0 and solve for x
So the equation is 2x+5y=10 but now becomes 2(0)+5y=10.
Next multiply the 2 and 0 which becomes 0+5y=10.
Simplify the equation so now it's 5y=10.
Next is to divide both sides by 5 to isolate the y so 5y/5=10/5
Finally y=2
so the y intercept would be (0,2).
