To raise a product to a power, raise each factor to that power


= 10 + 4 * 9 / 4 * {( (1)/(2) )}^(3)

To raise a fraction to a power, raise the numerator and denominator to that power


= 10 + 4 * 9 / 4 * (1)/(8)

Any expression divided by itself equals 1


= 10 + 1 * 9 * (1)/(8)

Any expression multiplied by 1 remains the same


= 10 + 9 * (1)/(8)

Calculate the product


= 10 + (9)/(8)

Write all numerators above the common denominator


= (80 + 9)/(8)

Add the numbers


= (89)/(8)

Divide


= 11.125
