I'm assuming you meant to say P(A) = 3/5 and P(B|A) = 8/9.

If so, then we multiply the probabilities to get P(A and B)

P(A and B) = P(A)*P(B|A)

P(A and B) = (3/5)*(8/9)

P(A and B) = (3*8)/(5*9)

P(A and B) = 8/(5*3)

P(A and B) = 8/15

Answer: 8/15
