Answer:

y = -1/2x+7

Explanation:

We have a slope of -1/2 and a point of (4,5)

Using the slope intercept form of a line

y = mx+b

y = -1/2 x +b

Substituting the point into the equation

5 = -1/2(4) +b

5 = -2+b

Add 2 to each side

5+2 = -2+2+b

7 = b

The equation of the line is

y = -1/2x+7
