Answer: 6(4 + 3t)

This is the same as 6(3t + 4) because we can add two terms in any order

To get either answer, we first note that 6 is the greatest common factor (GCF) of 18 and 24. So we factor each term so that a 6 is involved. Then we use the distributive property in reverse like so

24 + 18t = 6*4 + 6*3t = 6(4 + 3t)

The distributive property is a(b+c) = a*b + a*c. We multiply the outer term 'a' by each term inside the parenthesis. Then we add the results.

Answer:

6

Explanation:

To find the GCF do the prime factorization of each term

24: 2x2x2x3

18t: 2x3x3xt

Now find the numbers that they both have in common

That would be 2 & 3

When you multiply them together you should get 6
