Explanation:

here, on this as the measure of triangle is alredy given separately we don'tneed its area. We just can use formula of area of triangle and simpfy it to get answer.

the measures of perpendicular (p)= 8

and base (b)=4

now, area of triangle (a)=1/2×b×p

or, a = 1/2 ×4×8

by simplifying it we get 16 sq.units.
