please answer fast. Alan is conducting an experiment to determine whether a new medication is effective in reducing coughing. He finds 2,000 volunteers with coughing issues and divides them into two groups. The control group does not receive any medication; the treatment group receives the medication. Alan can conclude that the medicine given out to the treatment group does indeed work and reduces the amount of coughing and the control group with no treatment never got any better so the medicine is far better than no treatment at all.
