  4. y=5x

  5. y=x+21

Whenever finding a rule, figure out what x+1 relates to in terms of y (aka the slope). Also, figure out the y-intercept (0,y)

Example:

x+1 = y+2.

Slope: 2 ÷ 1 = 2.

The y-intercept is (0,9)

This would make the rule y=2x+9
