The answer is 51

Explanation:

f(x) = 5x + 4

g(x) = −2x + 1

To find f(6)+g(-8) first find f(6) and g(-8) and add them

For f(6) we have

f(6) = 5(6) + 4

= 30 + 4

= 34

For g(-8)

g(-8) = - 2(-8) + 1

= 16 + 1

= 17

So we have

f(6)+g(-8) is

34 + 17

= 51
