Okay
Here an example for factoring the zero
A. X^2+x -20=0
(X+3) (x-4)=0
X+3=0 X-4=0
X=-3 Or x= 4
Here an an example for quadratic form
X-2=0
Formula for quadratic form is
Ax^2 +bx +c =0
Discriminant =b^2 -4ac
0^2 -4(1)(-2)=8
So 8 is not perfect square
Here we a solution
X= -b+-√b^2-4ac/2a
X= -0+_ √0^2-4(1)(-2)/2(1)
X=-0+_ √8/2
X= +_2 √2/2
Cancel 2
+_ √2
And last question which one you prefer so you can choice any
Hopefully this help you :)
