In Mrs. Santiago’s math classroom, more people sit on the right-hand side of the room than the left. The students on the right-hand side of the classroom received the following scores on an exam worth 100 points:
85, 90, 100, 95, 0, 0, 90, 70, 100, 95, 80, 95
The students who sit on the left side of the room received these test scores on the same test:
65, 80, 90, 65, 80, 60, 95, 85

1) Make a statistical argument that students on the right-hand side of the

room were more successful.

2) Make a statistical argument that students on the left-hand side of the

room were more successful.

The students on the right hand side had better overall results

There were less people on the left hand side of the room this affects the average even with the right hand side having two zeros, another thing which the left hand side didn’t have.
