Answer:

Prejudice is a preconceived opinion that is held by someone towards a certain group of people. E.g. An ethnic, racial or social group.

Discrimination is the behaviour or actions, usually negative, that is held upon a certain group of people

Prejudice and discrimination may exist due to the constant segregation and the shunning down of individuals in society. Whether that be socially, financially, intellectually and physically.

Some solutions to reduce acts of discrimination, include:

1) Acknowledge that discrimination is a problem relevant to today's society

2) Address it through platforms that many people come across on a regular basis

3) Promote acts of kindness and acceptance
