The range is 5 and the mean is 2. This is because the range you have to subtract the largest number by the smallest number and in this case the largest is 6 and the smallest is 1. 6-5 is 1. Then for the mean you have to add up all of the numbers in the data set and then divide it by how many number are in the data set. And you get an answer of 2.
