Answer:

x-intercept = -6

y-intercept = -21

Explanation:

x - intercept is for y = 0

y - intercept is for x = 0.

We have y = -2x - 21.

Substitute:

x = 0 → y = -2(0) - 12 = 0 - 12 = -12

y = 0 → 0 = -2x - 12 add 2x to both sides

2x = -12 divide both sides by 2

x = -6
