Explanation: There are 60 students in this "universe." 20 have jobs. The random student does not. So that student is in the "complement" of 40 outside the jobs circle. (16 "sports" + 24 in the field outside the circles)

Of those 40, 24 do not play sports, which is what the question specifies. The chance is then 24/40 reduced: 6/10

So the chance of the random student selected from the group of "doesn't have a job" and "doesn't play sports" is .6
