Explanation:

Geometric mean of two term p and q is =
√(pq)

we have

p = √7​

geometric mean = √35

Thus, using the formula of geometric mean

√35 = √7​*q


√(35) = √(7q) \\

squaring both sides


√(35)^2 = √(7q) ^2\\=>35 = 7q\\=> q = 35/7 = 5

Thus, q= 5
