(4x-16)/3 = 36

4x-16 = 108

4x = 108+16

4x = 124

x = 124/4

x = 31

Answer:

x = 31

Explanation:

=>
(4x-16)(1)/(3) = 36

Multiplying 3 to both sides

=>
4x-16 = 36*3

=> 4x-16 - 108

Adding 16 to both sides

=> 4x = 108+16

=> 4x = 124

Dividing both sides by 4

=> x = 31
