y =3x - 2 ... equ 2

subtract equ 1 from 2, we'll have


0 = 2x - 3


2x = 3


x= 3/2 = 1.5

substitute the value of
x in equ 1, we'll have


y = 1.5 +1


y = 2.5

therefore, solution to the system of the equation is (1.5, 2.5)

the closest in your option is (1.4, 2.5)
