Art travels these days by social media with people posting their art on apps like Instagram and Twitter this will inspire a lot of other people to make art which makes a lot of good new art go into the main stream but this could also have a negative affect by a lot of bad art going in which can lower the artist confidence

from a chemical point of view, time really does change art. Mediums darken, some colours fade and the support material adjusts. The biggest change is that we the viewer are placing on the art piece. Sculpture may be physically worn away by our caressing, leaving the intended platina polished back to a different colour.
