1> Biogeochemical cycle has four
different name -Carbon cycle-Hydrologic cycle-Nitrogen cycle-Oxygen cycle

2> a substance that provides nourishment essential for the maintenance of life and for growth.

3> Macronutrients are those nutrients that the body needs in large amounts. These provide the body with energy (calories). Micronutrients are those nutrients that the body needs in smaller amounts.

4> Matter can change form through physical and chemical changes, but through any of these changes, matter is conserved. The same amount of matter exists before and after the change—none is created or destroyed. This concept is called the Law of Conservation of Mass.

Answer:

Substances that living organism obtained from food substances consumed for effective biochemical reactions of the body are called nutrients.Theses substances are produced in cells of living organisms, they are therefore obtained from the food substances consumed. When they are needed in large amounts for survival of living organisms they are called Macro nutrients or essential nutrients-CHO,proteins fatty acids are examples but in smaller amounts as micro nutrients, because they are needed for the general well being, thus living organism can survive without them-Ca,K,Zn,Mg are examples,

The law of conservation matter- Matter in any chemical reactions the total mass of the product must be equal in proportion to that of the reactants. Thus the mass in the reaction must be constant,

Biogeochemical cycles;this is also known as substances turn over,It is the exchange of elements and compounds between the living organism and their immediate environments.

Thus living organisms obtained substances in the food chain as this is moved from one trophic levels to another. These are used for different biochemical reactions. However, they are expanded for different biochemical activities ,excretion, respiration, locomotion and movements and death and decomposition where after decay, are reabsorbed by the producers for the cycle to continue.
