When we rearrange the formula, we get 7x^2 - 5x + 1 = 0

When we put it in the quadratic formula: x = (−b±√b^2−4ac ) over 2a, we get x = 5 ± √-5^2-4(7)(1) over 2(7)

The discriminant is inside the square root. It is a -3. And because it is negative, we know that the root is an imaginary root.
