Electrolytes are substances that produce an electrically conducting solution, when dissolved in a polar solvent, such as water. We can call them as liquids or gels which contain ions. For example:- Sodium Chloride(NaCl), Nitric Acid(HNO3), Chloric Acid(HCLO3) etc.
