A 14.0 L gas cylinder has been filled with 8.00 moles of gas. You measure the pressure to be 3.90 atm . What is the temperature inside the tank? I know I need to use the Ideal Gas Law (PV=nRT), but how can I even calculate R if I don't know the temperature? Please help!!

Answer:

T =83.17k

Step-by-step explanation:

pv=nRT

R = 0.08206Latmmol-¹k-¹

3.9 x 14= 8 x 0.08206 x T

54.6 = 0.6565 x T

T = 54.6/0.6565 = 83.17k
