If one examines the stars on a really dark night away from the glare of city lights, some stars appear distinctly reddish in color and other appear brilliant blue. why does this happen?

Answer: The stars do not shine brighter than the sun.

Explanation: The sun is the brightest star

  • That star which looks distinct red means its planet of our solar system namely Mars

For brilliant blue

  • Every star has their solar systems
  • Many plants move around them
  • When one of the planets come in between our sight and that star that glimpses
