To be able to compete in a particular class, a bodybuilder can weigh in at no more than

175 pounds and no less than 145 pounds. If the clothes the wrestlers wear add 1
pound, what is the actual weight range, in pounds, for these bodybuilders (in interval
notation)?

Answer:

the second one, [144,174]

Explanation:

since the suits weigh 1 pound, it means the body builders have to weigh one pound less than they normally would to make up for that one pound. therefore, the range is 144 (one less than 145) to 174 (one less than 175)

hope this helps! comment if any part doesn't make sense so I can clarify ;-3
