Answer:
Methylphenidate is used to treat ADHD
Step-by-step explanation:
As someone who has been diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago, I take 27mg pills of this medication by prescription in order to focus on the things I need to do for school, otherwise focusing on school would be very difficult. However, as you may have suspected by the prefix ("Methyl"), it is a highly altered version of methamphetamines. While it does not have nearly the same effect as the hard drug, many prefer other medications to treat their ADHD, such as hydroxyzine and attencia. While I HAVE tried these, they do not seem to work for me as much as methylphenidate does. I do recommend you ask your doctor before trying any medications that have not been directly prescribed to you, though.
