lets solve by substitution:

1) lets isolate y:

6x–3y=3

-3y=-6x+3

y=(-6x+3)/-3

y=2x-1

2) plug in 2x-1 for y in order to find x:

6x-3(2x-1)=3

6x-6x+3=3

3=3

since x cancels out, it means that there is no solution to this linear system of equations
