Answer: Predicted level of social skill will be 46

Explanation:

For a linear regression; the general equation is in the form;

y = mx + c

Where is the predicted value or variable

m = slope or gradient (regression coefficient )

c = intercept which is constant (this is where the line of best for crosses the y-axis.

y = predicted value

x = independent variable

Given the following:

Regression coefficient (m)= 3

Regression constant (c)= 16

Score(x) = 10 (independent variable)

From:

y = mx + c

y = 3(10) + 16

y = 30 + 16

y = 46

Predicted level of social skill will be 46
