Liquid water is thought to be unable to exist on the surface of the planet Mars. Although scientists hope to discover life on the Martian surface, as you have learned, the lack of liquid water poses many challenges for life. Construct an argument for whether or not a particular form of life (for example, bacteria and other single-celled organisms, plants, or animals) could survive on the Martian surface and why this is the case, using evidence you have gathered from the web resources provided and any other reliable sources to support your argument.
