Domesticated dogs are descended from wolves, and modern dog breeds are the result of artificial selection. Imagine that you were given a population of wolves and asked to

ultimately produce Chihuahuas (if you don't know this breed of dog, please Google it).
1. If you had a bunch of wolves and wanted a Chihuahua, how you create one? List just one thing you would do.
2. Explain how your strategy would work.
Hint: Think about what you learned about natural selection.

Answer:

organisms acclimate over time is by adapting to their habitats and their ecosystem. If i were to make a population of wolves into a chihuahua i would make sure that the habitat is smaller and also the amount of resources available should be less than what they are used to. This should cause them to become smaller to help preserve energy.Once they breed and a favorable genetic is present, that wolf is used to breed with another wolf that has a genetic mutation that would make it smaller and more domesticated. By taking genetic mutations that are a result from these changes you can get a wolf to be more domesticated and become smaller. like a chihuahua
